Under the guidance of Iliana Benitez, Vertex Studio, a Salvadoran company specializing in virtual and mixed reality for gaming and e-learning, embarked on an ambitious growth journey. To effectively expand and attract innovative international clients, Iliana enlisted Bpeace’s expertise.

Skillanthropist Joseph Howse, a software developer with a focus on computer vision, played a key role in this process. He helped Vertex Studio refine their business goals and develop plans to enhance their e-learning platform. Together, they explored new sales and monetization channels, set optimal pricing, and revised the company’s branding and design, positioning Vertex Studio for global market entry.

Iliana reflects on the experience, saying, “Joe has become the kind of coach for Vertex that I aspire to be for my own team. The coaching skills I’ve gained are crucial for guiding our company toward growth.”

Vertex Studio also took part in a Talent Management workshop to enhance their recruitment, training, and staff retention strategies—crucial components of their global expansion plan. “Finding skilled talent in El Salvador is challenging,” Iliana explained. “After the workshop, we hired our first HR manager, which led to securing larger projects, increasing salaries, and offering year-end bonuses and private health insurance. This progress is a direct result of what we learned through Bpeace.”

At the conclusion of the program, Liliana acknowledged that Bpeace had provided her with the business skills and coaching needed to run the company more efficiently and with less stress. “I now feel more confident asking questions in meetings, even on unfamiliar topics,” she said.
