Despite steps towards stabilization, Guatemala continues to battle pervasive gang violence and extortion. These security concerns remain primary drivers of displacement, particularly affecting youth and contributing to unaccompanied minor migration.
Chronic violence, climate shocks, and food insecurity drive widespread displacement in Honduras. SMEs, which form the backbone of the Honduran economy and job market, struggle to access credit for working capital, workforce expansion, and business growth, impeding overall economic stability.
El Salvador grapples with multifaceted challenges including climate change impacts, natural disasters, health inequities, and food, energy, and economic insecurity. These issues, combined with high youth unemployment and persistent gang violence, fuel migration and hinder sustainable development.

Our country internal economy benefits because we have grown, and this is thanks to Bpeace. The conditions of salaries for our employees got better. The benefits are felt throughout the country. Nobody thinks about migrating. Our country has potential.
We joined Bpeace to improve our organization and grow. The insights from expert volunteers have helped us reflect on areas we hadn't considered. At Caoba Farms, we are like a family, and our goal remains to treat our employees well, ensuring they feel happy and comfortable.
Building economic stability to ensure lasting peace makes so much sense. I'm going on my ninth year volunteering with Bpeace and it never gets old. It is one of the most fulfilling things in my life. I couldn't be more proud of the work Bpeace does in the world.
The work Bpeace completed for USAID Economic Competitiveness Project has been both productive and successful. I look forward to the possibility of continuing our collaboration in the future.
Bpeace is one of a kind. I've been volunteering and supporting Bpeace for 10 years. The initial draw for me was the hands-on impact I felt through volunteering. I literally knew the people who benefitted from my support, which is so rare in nonprofits! Over the years, my initial good impression has been reconfirmed time and time again. The operating model is lean, transparent, pragmatic and effective.
