Bpeace Board of Directors Opportunity
Bpeace is seeking rising or senior-level business, government, or philanthropic leaders to join our productive and passionate Board of Directors and drive our next stage of growth.
ABOUT BPEACE
The Business Council for Peace (Bpeace) is a 20-year old award-winning nonprofit working in Central America and the U.S., to grow small and medium-sized businesses, create significant employment for all, and expand the economic power of women.
We deliver high-quality, customized business consulting and management development through volunteer business experts to carefully vetted small and medium-size businesses.
The engine at the heart of Bpeace is our unique base of 600+ Bpeace volunteers who work remotely and in person with business owners in communities impacted by crisis.
We have a bias toward supporting women entrepreneurs; and the majority of the businesses in our portfolio are women-owned or led.
Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times says: “Bpeace is one impressive force for change.”
ABOUT BPEACE IMPACT
For two decades, Bpeace has been the driver of change, strengthening 460 small businesses across six countries. We’ve supported the creation and sustenance of 40,000 jobs, injecting a remarkable $2 billion in revenue into local economies. Particularly empowering women, our collaboration with 276 women-led and owned businesses has played a pivotal role in generating 16,000 jobs for women. Yet, our impact extends far beyond the statistics. Bpeace has touched the lives of over 500,000 families, fostering positive transformations that ripple through communities in need.
