OPERATIONS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT EXPERT FOR A MEXICAN-GUATEMALAN BUSINESS

Leverage your expertise to provide direct consulting to one of the small businesses participating in the program.

You will use your experience to consult in the following areas:

  • Process Assessment and Optimization: Evaluate and streamline current service processes for scalability by identifying core workflows, documenting procedures, pinpointing inefficiencies, and developing a roadmap to improve quality and operational efficiency. This includes reviewing current operational processes in Mexico, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies that may hinder expansion into Guatemala, and adapting these processes for scalable operations across both countries.
  • Standardization: Introduce best practices for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to the Guatemalan market. Manage change and prepare training materials to deliver effective staff training, ensuring smooth process adoption and operational consistency for local teams.
  • Technology Integration: Guide the implementation of technological solutions to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance overall operational efficiency, supporting scalability and sustainable growth.

Volunteer Skills:

  • Proven track record in identifying inefficiencies and developing roadmaps for process optimization.
  • Strong background in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing organizational change for processes.
  • Experience in integrating technological solutions to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Skilled in utilizing metrics and tools for continuous process monitoring and improvement.
  • Experience in training and onboarding, with the ability to develop and implement effective training programs for staff to ensure consistent service standards.
  • Experience consulting for small businesses, including the ability to identify core challenges, refine the scope of project, and lead discussions to progress along the defined scope.
  • Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively and provide clear and actionable recommendations.
